Mark co-formed Optimum Potential in May 1990 and has been intrinsically involved with the business as a main Consultant since that time.
He has worked with many leading organisations in a variety of fields including electronics, supply chain, retail and building services, having been instrumental in introducing them to OP as customers and subsequently becoming closely involved in their recruitment process.
Experienced in all types of recruitment at varying levels, his specialist area is Head Hunting, where he is able to demonstrate numerous, notable successes across many sectors and job functions.
He is also an experienced Outplacement Consultant and has a wealth of experience in assisting individuals to effectively and successfully approach the UK job market.
Prior to forming OP, Mark worked in IT recruitment with the Hunterskil Howard Group and preceding this he had a successful sales and sales management career in the fields of Industrial Temperature Measurement, Aerospace and Business Travel.
Married with two young sons, life outside work is taken up predominantly with youth sport and local community work.

His last role prior to forming the company was as Southern Sales Manager of an Industrial Temperature Measurement manufacturer and distributor where, as well as managing a team of six sales people, he was also responsible for some Key Accounts.
Prior to that he worked in Caterpillar Spare Part Sales to oil companies in 6 African States, as well as Customer Services.
He is in his forties and is married with two growing sons. Outside interests are family and sports orientated, mainly revolving around Windsor Rugby Football Club where he is Head Coach of a junior team, Club Coaching Co-ordinator, Vice President and plays for the Veterans team, ‘The Gargoyles’. Other interests are music, reading and cooking.
Amanda joined OP in summer 2007. Prior to this, her career has encompassed successful periods in Human Resources, IT Sales, ‘High Street’ recruitment and development of a family computer networking business.
Experienced in all forms of recruitment, her main area of expertise is Business Support, Administration and Sales vacancies where her HR and business experience continually proves invaluable in meeting the changing needs of OP clients.
Mum to two teenagers, and married to an IT professional, Amanda’s interests include cookery, sport and historical autobiographies.
Gill is our Office Manager. She will complete ten years service with OP in November 2008.
Her role is a busy and varied one, encompassing a wide range of duties including keeping the company computer network afloat, handling all incoming correspondence (not least job applications from all corners of the world) and, perhaps most importantly, keeping in check the exuberance and eccentricities of the partners !
Prior to OP, companies to benefit from her organisational flair and calming presence included ITP & Mars. Her early career included spells with Nat West Bank, British Airways, Avis and the Spanish Bit Riding School where she was a qualified teacher.
Married with two grown up sons, Gill’s interests outside work include badminton, walking and pilates.
